​For best use, charge the lids under light for a minute or two before using. Keep the original black caps on your bottles and charge the glow-caps separately. This keeps the bottles away from the heat of a bulb and helps them stay fresh longer.
Caution:
All plastic lids are subject to weakening over time when used to contain strong chemicals, regardless of manufacturer (as shown below on the black caps most of us are familiar with).
To extend the life of the cap, store bottles upright and do not over tighten.
